The Tarzan Treehouse

 This "attraction" is so lame.  You can argue with me in the comments if you want. In a world where we walk close to 9 miles a day why would we walk even more? There is no ride at the end-it's just a way to get the kids tired faster.  Also, it's a huge distraction.  Let me explain: It's known among our family that when we get through the gates we head right to Pirates.  Pirates is our first ride of the day and we all try to pile into one boat.  The problem is the dumb treehouse is on the way to Pirates and when the kids see it they seem to forget the plan we made not 5 minutes before.  The dumb treehouse gets in the way of us hoping on Pirates!

    Yea, the treehouse isn’t a very good ride haha. They should replace it with a different ride, one that’s fun haha

Remember that time we went to Universal Studios? That was fun. We rode the Mario ride, which was a let down.  How is it that the line for the ride was better than the actual ride? Mario Land was really cool.  I thought it was fun to see all of the different stuff from the Mario video games. I also liked that the music in the bathroom was from the underwater worlds of the original Super Mario Bros game. Welcome Back!

So, we have a Disney trip on the horizon. In fact, it's about 92 days from now.  As I like to do, I am dusting off this old blog for another round of daily posts. This blog is known as Disneyland Everyday because I like to post everyday.  However, this is really the Disney hype machine.  The goal here is to make sure everyone gets a small taste of Disney magic every day between now and when we actually go! By way of review, here are the trip dates: Sunday November 10 Drive to St. George Monday November 11 Drive to Anaheim, see the Disneyland Plaza Tuesday November 12 Disneyland Wednesday November 13 Disney California Adventure, then hop back to Disneyland! Autopia Go Carts

This ride...it's not really a ride.  It looks cool because you get to drive a car. I'll be that was a real treat for lots of people when the park opened in 1955.  The issue now is that we've all seen cars, ridden in cars, and know all about cars.  The novelty of driving a car is long gone.  In fact, in order for us to even get to the Autopia attraction we have to ride in a car for a good 10+ hours! The other thing about this ride is how slow the cars actually go.  The last time I rode this ride I was pressing my foot so hard on the gas pedal and we topped out at a whopping 4mph.  That is just a bit north of walking speed.  It's a bit disappointing. The last complaint I have about this ride is the weird guiderail in the middle of the track.  That thing makes it really difficult to goof off as you drive along.  I think you could probably just push the gas pedal and never touch the steering wheel.  That guiderail will keep you in the middle...
