Pictures and Stuff

Look at this one:

I really like this picture. My friend Jesse referred to this group as the "OG Christensens." This was taken back in May.  We are in ToonTown, in front of the new Mickey and Minnie ride.

Here's another picture:

I have spent a lot of time at Disneyland.  I mean, not a lot, but I average probably 2-3 days per year. In all of my time at the park I've never seen this wanted poster.  I don't know who that is or where this picture was taken.  I need someone to enlighten me on the matter.

Now look at this:

This would be a fun picture to play the caption game with. Here we have two guys who are giving a thumbs up, but they're looking at each other like they aren't so sure what they're thumbs upping. There's this look of confusion. And, of course, who could miss the photo bomber?!

Here's another pic:

This was taken on the Jungle Cruise at night. I thought the Jungle Cruise at night would be so cool.  It wasn't.  It was a bit of a letdown. As I recall, it was a bit too dark.  You couldn't see nearly as much stuff as in the daytime. Yes, you could see the "back side of water" but who cares, really? I mean, they make this big deal about the back side of water, but why?  On a ride that is full up with hilarious puns, this poor excuse for a joke falls flat every time.

Here are a few more repeat pictures, but no commentary on these:

Here's some more from the long story:

Night-Time Antics

Despite the relaxing soak in the hot tub, some of the kids were too excited about Disneyland to sleep soundly through the night. While most of the families managed to get a good night's rest, a few kids had a little more trouble.

Midnight Mischief

At around midnight, Lincoln woke up and nudged his brother Titan.

"Do you think Mickey Mouse is sleeping right now?" Lincoln whispered, eyes wide with excitement.

"Mickey Mouse never sleeps," Titan replied, equally wide-eyed. "He's probably planning our day right now."

Across the hall, Jenna and Reagan were having a hushed conversation about their ride plans.

"Do you think we should do Space Mountain first?" Jenna asked.

"No, no, Pirates of the Caribbean!" Reagan insisted. "Or maybe both at the same time."

In another room, Kevin woke up his brother Brandon.

"Are you still the hot tub king?" Kevin asked, stifling a giggle.

"Of course," Brandon replied with a yawn. "But tomorrow, I’ll be the Space Mountain king."

Their parents, hearing the midnight chatter, had to intervene.

"Guys, if you don't get some sleep, you'll be too tired to enjoy Disneyland," Mandy reminded her kids.

"Yeah, you don't want to fall asleep on Mickey," Christian added to his kids.

With some reluctance, the kids finally settled back down, though their dreams were undoubtedly filled with magical adventures.
