Delicious treats!  Here we go! Pizza Planet?  Whatever. Turkey leg?  Yes please! Let's jump in line for a churro! Tropical Hideaway Treats: First, take a picture of a place that sells treats.  Then order a treat!

 Here are some of what is said on the boat ride. As we get on the boat:  Don’t worry if it’s crowded now… there’ll be lots of room on the way back.   How many of you are on the Jungle Cruise for the first time? Good! So am I. Let’s get one thing straight… if we start to sink, the captain will be going down with the boat. I’d like you to meet your new captain (looking at nearby guest)… What did you say your name was? On the ride: Now, let’s everyone turn around and wave good-bye to those people on the dock we’ve left behind. (In low voice) Come on folks… pretend like you’re having a good time. OK… before we go much further, everyone raise your right hand and repeat after me. “I hope…. we do return.” Good! Better turn and take one last look at the dock- you may never see it again! Before I came to the Jungle, I worked in an orange juice factory, but I got canned because I couldn’t concentrate. My boss almost beat the pulp out of me… As we finish up the ride: You know, ...

 I read online that the estimated longest wait time for the Little Mermaid ride was 2.5 hours. That's 150 minutes.  I can't imagine how far that line stretched in order to have the wait be that long!  It probably stretched all the way to Goofy's Skycoaster! Anyway, we all know that the typical wait time is 5 minutes, but sometimes can be as long as 20.  A 20 minute wait means the park is wildly crowded and we are all glad to not be at the park that day.

 Let's head back to the Mansion.  I like seeing the shadow playing the piano.  I like the music. I think the Doom Buggies are comfortable.  It's a great ride! "When hinges creak in doorless chambers, and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls. Whenever candlelights flicker where the air is deathly still — that is the time when ghosts are present, practicing their terror with ghoulish delight!"  Here are some more pictures of the Mater ride.  I haven't watched the movie Cars in years. Maybe I should watch the movie again before our next trip to the parks.  Sometimes watching the movies make the rides a bit more fun.  Here's an idea: go to a thrift shop or D.I. and find Cars on DVD, then watch it on the drive down!

 Disney is a master at selling things.  They sell cloths and stuffed animals like crazy.  Here are some examples of stuff we played with, took pics of, but didn't necessarily buy. Here's Jenna wearing some kind of apron.  Maybe she can explain what the heck it is, why Disney was selling it, and why she likes it. Who is that under that giant eyeball? Trev, trying to decide if he needs a stuffed animal from a cartoon he's never watched. R2-D2 and C3PO thinking their dad is cool enough to buy them these hats.  They were incorrect.  Maybe next time we go I'll buy them a hat like this...maybe.
