Lots of Posts!

Image
Can you believe there has been a new Disney post every day since May 1?! Yes, I use my time wisely. Here are some Halloween pics.  Disney does Halloween up right.  It's not really scary, but it's fun! Who knows what this is? This young, young boy got Goofy's autograph!

Disney Merch!

Image
Disney really makes good merch.  Yes, it's more expensive than generic stuff, but it's pretty fun!  And merch that you bought in the park seems to be even better! Of course, we hardly buy anything during our days at the park.  Who wants to carry something around all day? Well, the kids don't seem to mind carrying their merch around, but I'm not interested in doing that. I wish I would have gone ahead and bought these puzzles:

Cars!

The Cars ride is great.  It's fun and exhilarating.  It sometimes goes slow, sometimes it's really fast.  It tells a fun little story and in the end I always win! This ride has some of the longest wait times in the entire park, for good reason. I happen to know for a fact that Lissa and Brandon both love the Cars ride: This is also one of the rides that has pictures taken automatically during the ride:

The Casey Jr. Circus Train

Image
The fact is, I'm too big for this ride and so are most of our kids.  If you didn't know, this train is in the 1941 movie Dumbo. The ride is slow and the music is upbeat. It's similar to the Storybook Land Canal ride, but in this one there's no narration on a crappy speaker/microphone. The train itself was one of the original rides on July 17, 1955, but the decorations around the train weren't complete for a while after. The ride lasts 3 minutes 40 seconds.  Not very long and it's not air conditioned.

Happy Birthday Kevin!

Image
It's Kevin's birthday, but this post isn't about him.  It's about meeting the Disney characters at the park! Can anyone name all four of these characters?

Star Tours

Image
To my knowledge, we all like Star Tours.  It's a fun ride.  The ride holds 40 people and only lasts 4.5 minutes, so the line moves pretty quick.  There's also a nice churro cart nearby, and, of course, Buzz Lightyear is across the way, so all good things. Now that Disney owns Star Wars this ride is terribly out of place.  If they call me up and ask for my opinion, I'd suggest they build a new Star Tours ride out in Galaxy's Edge (Star Wars Land) and repurpose the current ride to something else, but not Michael Jackson. Anyway, here are some pictures:

Churro Time!

Image
The churros are so good they deserve another post! Here Christian has at least four churros in hand, with no intentions of sharing with anyone! Zac is a huge fan of the churros.  Remember that time we went and every time we turned around we couldn't find him because he was in another line to buy a churro?  I don't know where he got the money but I think he spent around $80 on churros that trip! Here's another churro pic:
